The Justice League will need to face yet another threat.
Something is causing destruction everywhere and controlling people to attack their heroes. Now is up to the team to find who is the culprit.
This is the proper beginning of Hitch's Justice League Rebirth book and it quite frankly doesn't impress just like his Rebirth issue.
The writer focuses on a mysterious threat that is affecting the whole world but that's mostly it, the plot here only focuses on the fight against the people who are being controlled and trying to prevent more destruction. Sure, there are a few more events here but they're not as relevant and for that reason the chapter is pretty lacking in content.
The narration is not particularly good at times since it can be overexpository with Cyborg saying who he used to be out loud (although the rest of the lines are not so bad). The characterization is on-point for the most part at the very least.
Tony Daniel handles the artwork and is gorgeous with beautiful characters and strong action scenes that are huge in scope.
Not feeling it yet aside from the art, is a shame.
