The war on Earth is about to end but at what cost?
Optimus, Soundwave and Galvatron are ready to finish this fight that is causing destruction everywhere and one of them will have to fall. However, no matter who wins, everything will change from now on.
All Hail Optimus comes to a conclusion and I'm happy to say is a satisfying one.
John Barber brings the final chapter of his storyline by concentrating on the conflict between its three major players: Optimus, Soundwave and Galvatron. The character work is pretty solid as usual with Optimus showcasing his growth and understanding of Galvatron's nature and Soundwave also finding the only logical solution for their conflict which leads to the inevitable end where there's no turning back for any of the people included.
One of the best aspects here is how every perspective is being explored and you can realize perfectly how the members of the cast think. This leads to a new status quo that will most certainly an important plot-point in the future, most likely in the upcoming Titans Return crossover which hopefully will also be entertaining.
Andrew Griffith handles the artwork and is beautiful, particularly the design of the Transformers as well as the action scenes that are quite vibrant and engaging.
Pretty solid. Now onto Titans Return.
