What will happen now that Patsy's best friend is in danger?
After the recent attack by Thanos, She-Hulk ended-up in a coma and the only thing that Patsy can do is try to remember her in her best moments.
I'm going to say it, this is how you handle tie-ins properly.
Kate Leth brings a new chapter where she exploits the events from Civil War II, particularly the fact that She-Hulk is in a coma, in her favor for character work. This issue is mostly dedicated to explore how important Jen is in Patsy's life. The respective portrayals are really on-point and is good to see how events from She-Hulk's last series are reminisced here including how Patsy and Jen met again.
There are also some cameos including the always welcomed Howard the Duck along with other characters from She-Hulk's title. There's not a lot of plot going on but the interaction between the different personalities was quite entertaining and surprisingly natural. Plus, a new character is added to the cast and I'm glad to see her again.
Brittney L. Williams returns to art duties and her work is beautiful with her usual cartoony style and appealing characters.
Solid installment, hope to see more of Patsy's adventures in the next one though.
