Some thoughts about Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #1

Hal Jordan is back as Green Lantern but his problems are far from over.

The Sinestro Corps are ready to instill fear around the universe once again and if Hal wants to stop him, he will need more help.

The new direction continues and it still proves to be an enjoyable one.

Robert Venditti brings a new chapter where he focuses on the new status quo exploring the nature of Hal's new ring and how is different from the last one. The character work is pretty solid with all the members of the cast acting the way they should and the dialogue fitting those scenes nicely.

The Sinestro Corps are also key members here since the plot progresses around them and their actions. Is good to know that the writer is following the events of the last Sinestro series to give all of them a new direction while still being faithful to what happened before.

And the last page promises nice things coming.

Rafa Sandoval is in charge of the art and is really impressive with beautiful characters and a strong presentation skill that makes each segment look fantastic.

Pretty solid overall, hope to see more of the whole team soon.
