Some thoughts about Omega Men #9

The Omega Men are about to launch their final attack.

The team has finally found a solution to deal with their opressors that could make them just as bad as them but Kyle Rayner believes that there must be another way to deal with this.

This was once again, an interesting read.

Tom King delivers a new chapter where he plays with the ramifications of the last few issues about how Kyle has learned a lot from the Omega Men as well as the civilization where they come from. The development that occurs here is quite surprising and it presents some compelling themes about what this team has become.

The characterization is pretty solid with Kyle finally starting to become his old self by being more confident and competent while at the same time not letting others to change who he actually is. I wish this would have occurred sooner though.

Barnaby Bagenda handles the artwork and the presentation is still pretty good with the creative panels serving both for the conflict of ideals and the shocking moments.

Satisfying issue that pretty much sets the stage for the last few. Nice job overall.
