Some thoughts about Justice League of America #8

The battle against Rao is about to end.

The Justice League is doing their best to stop the deranged God but is still not enough. They will need all of their skills to defeat him and some of them will have to die.

Okay, I feel this chapter worked a bit better but is not without flaws.

Bryan Hitch continues his story by focusing on basically the final fight against Rao where every member of the team contribute to his defeat. Admitedly, the action scenes are well paced and they show some interesting moments, especially when they include beings like the Parasite to assist them.

On the other hand, the dialogue can a bit awkward at times, particularly when Rao starts revealing what he is going to do now that they're starting to beat him. Plus, at the end Rao just escape which makes me wonder what was the point of this if he was just going to run away to get more power?

Hitch's artwork is solid, especially in action segments. Is definitely nicely depicted while showing different aspects of it.

Overall, some things to like but not enough to make me enjoy this issue.
