Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #50

Wonder Woman will have to face her own mentor for the sake of others.

Diana has been manipulated for different deities over the course of her life and now she will have to face Ares once again if she wants to save Zeke.

Well, this was an oversized borefest.

Meredith Finch arrives with a new chapter of her ongoing story that is focused on Diana visiting different places following Hecate's orders. The problem is still the characterization, Diana is unexplicably gullible here doing whatever comes from Hecate's mouth and while she still doubts her, she's still naive enough to continue with such mission. Plus, Ares also appears here and he's portrayed quite different from his original appearance in this title, now he wants to fight Diana for strange reasons. Finally, the story concludes in a week way and it sadly still will continue.

David Finch handles the artwork and is solid for what is worth. Good character models, monsters and settings overall.

There's a second story focusing on Donna Troy that manages to be a bit better since is focused on Donna's path to redemption but at the same time is poorly written with a quite angsty Donna and a story that is unnecesarily forced.

The art here is handled by Miguel Mendonca and is pretty solid with nice expressions for the characters and decent storytelling.

Not worth your money at all, nothing interesting to see.
