Cyclops is about to pay for something he didn't do.
Toad has been suffering all this time due to the actions of the adult Scott and now he's decided to kill his younger version to stop everything from happening. However, the timeline doesn't work that way.
Still consistent my dear All-New X-Men.
Dennis Hopeless brings a new chapter where he still focuses on the mistery of what happened to adult Cyclops and why everybody hates him now. The character work is one of the strongest aspects here and you can feel what made Toad transition from his previous appearances to this one which makes you understand more about him.
The rest of the cast receive a few scenes as well but this mostly dedicated to Scott and how he tries to escape from his captor. My major problem is that there wasn't a lot of story but what we got was pretty good.
Mark Bagley continues in art duties and his work is still pretty solid with really expressive characters and detailed action scenes.
Enjoyable overall, let's hope we see more progression in the next issue though.
