Some thoughts about Batgirl #49

Batgirl will have to fight for the sake of her own mind.

Both Frankie and Dinah are trying to save Barbara from the person who has been manipulating her memories all this time and to do so, they will need to enter into her head.

This works nicely as a way to unite all the plot-points the creators established during their work here.

Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher bring a new chapter where they focus on the ramifications of the last few issues where Barbara's memories have been altered and their friends need to save her. The fact that the writers managed to include the villain from their initial arc was a pretty good decision because it allowed to explore more aspects about the character.

Plus, there are some classic scenes where the altered memories take form in different paths for the protagonist's life which seemed interesting based on how tragic they were. There are also some hints about the future.

Babs Tarr, Horacio Dominguez, Roger Robinson, Ming Doyle and James Harvey share art duties and they work nicely in their respective segments although their different styles makes the story a bit disjointed at times.

Solid overall, hope the conclusion is good.
