Some thoughts about Gotham Academy #16

The flashbacks continue!

Damian has just arrived to Gotham Academy to see what's happening in everyone's lives and what we finds could be pretty surprising.

The Yearbook storyline is still in process and so far is still enjoyable.

Brenden Fletcher handles the main segment that focuses on Damian and how starts checking Maps' diary and what it contains. It's simple but solid and is especially good to see how Damian reacts to everything. Adam Archer handles the artwork here and the cartoony style is serviceable.

There's an one-and-done story written by James Tynion IV starring Maps and Colton about how she wants to meet Batman. The interaction between the characters is pretty entertaining and depicts their personalities perfectly. Christian Wildgoose is in charge of the pencils and his style is pretty distinctive fitting the tone of the book nicely.

The last story is written and drawn by Ken Hiimura and is about how Maps wants to be with her friends no matter what. It manages to stay lighthearted and charming during the course of the tale. Hiimura's simplistic yet appealing artstyle gets some nice moments from it.

Yet another fun read overall, no many complaints.
