The Lost Light's final stand has began.
Megatron has learned to love his role in the Autobots and he's ironically happier than he's ever been just when his life as well as his friends' are about to end.
50 issues of More than Meets the Eye and I'm certainly grateful to have them.
James Roberts delivers this anniversary issue by showcasing how the characters have progressed during this journey, especially Megatron who got some of the most prominent character development since his arrival in the Lost Light and now is showing different and likable aspects of his personality. The rest of the cast also receive some moments in the spotlight and as usual, their relationships are some of the strongest aspects here.
And of course, the story takes a surprising twist half-way once that is revealed that some people have plans on their own and many members from the crew are not invited. Everything during Season 2 has been building up to this and you will see many of the plot-points that were explored before integrated in this issue.
Alex Milne handles the artwork and I've been missing him a lot. His artstyle is really expressive when it needs to either in action or personal moments while demonstrating really good storytelling skills.
Satisfying beginning for this storyarc. Hope the following issues are just as good.
