The Wonders are still trying to make their world prosper bu the rest of the planet are turning against them and that allows for even more dangerous people to start gaining power.
This is probably the most on-point Earth 2 story since the end of James Robinson's run.
Dan Abnett delivers a new chapter where he concentrates on how the rest of the world is reacting to recent events and how they don't trust their heroes anymore. There are several characters playing an important role, from Batman's mission to stop Kyle Nimbus, to Kendra's fight against the Amazons, to how Alan's group are planning to regain their people's trust, etc. Several sub-plots are being developed.
Not only that but there some reinventions of Golden Age charcters like The Mist, the continuation of an old plot-point like Martha Kent and the return of several fan-favorites with good portrayals. There's a lot to appreciate here.
Jorge Jimenez handles the artwork and is pretty good looking with many kinetic scenes with a pretty distinctive style.
Solid, solid issue, really hope things continue this way.
is this getting canned for earth 2 rebirth and something new taking its place? I agree the last few issues have been pretty good compared to the last year....
