Some thoughts about Black Canary #9

What happened during one of Black Canary's early concerts?

The band went to Gotham City to make a rich girl happy full knowing that there are a lot of criminals who might want them dead and they were right for the most part.

As far as filler issues go this wasn't bad.

Matthew Rosenberg delivers a story about one of the first shows of the band and how they reacted to such situation. The setting of Gotham City proves to be an interesting one due that the author manages to include several personalities from such place like Black Mask and Professor Pyg while also playing with the history of the mob families.

There's also some decent character work. Rosenberg makes references about Dinah's past with Team 7 and her relationship with assasins and mercenaries which is fun to remember. The action is entertaining too.

Moritat handles the artwork and is good looking in its own style but the storytelling can be pretty awkward at times by making some scenes not clear enough.

Enjoyable I would say but I want to see more of the main plot.
