Harley is back home and is ready to start a new direction in her life.
After saving her new boyfriend, Harley wants to get back to her usual adventures but not without a new look and the arrival of a new enemy.
Well, the cover of this issue might tell you some of what's happening here but definitely not everything.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring a new chapter of the series by not giving Harley a moment to rest between the nightmares, bullies and crazy villains she needs to face. Thje comedic moments work as well as you would expect by combining with really violent scenes that are a staple for the title. The writers even manage to make some sociocommentaries here and there that quickly go into crazy territory.
Is also good to know that Harley actually acknowledges that her change of look is similar to the one from the upcoming Suicide Squad film. Plus, she is about to face a villain who may be a Deathstroke parody but I'm not really sure about it.
Chad Hardin and John Timms handle the pencils and both do a pretty good job in their respective moments making the bloody scenes quite graphic.
Entertaining issue once again, hope to see more of this encounter in particular.
