Superman is dying and there might not be hope for him.
Vandal Savage is gaining more and more power and Clark is getting weaker and weaker. His only chance now if everything goes just the way he planned it.
Okay, this is technically not bad but there are some things that bothered me.
Greg Pak continues his story by still focusing on how Clark's disease is eating him alive while he's still fighting against the forces of Savage. Credit where credit is due, the scenes that Pak delivers here are really well done for the most part and they definitely offer a lot of characterization not only from Clark, but also from the rest of the cast that has appeared since Truth. This brings an overall sense of closure, if the whole story wouldn't have been so long this would have been a satisfying chapter.
Still, there are a few problems like how the solution for saving Clark's life is so simple and pretty much appears from nowhere. In fact, everything seemed conveniently in place to happen despite that I don't really remember some foreshadowing about it.
Aaron Kuder returns to art duties and his work is one of the best aspects about this. Every scene is depicted perfectly and gets the best from script thanks to creative storytelling.
Again, I would call this almost good, almost.
