The Suicide Squad will have to fight for their lives once again.
The team managed to fake their deaths and now they're ready to start a new life. However, luck will always be against them.
This was actually even better than the last issue.
Tim Seeley continues his story by developing the cliffhanger from the last issue and showing what happened to the team after their supposed death. One of the most entertaining aspects of this issue is the dynamic between the characters, especially when is told from Harley Quinn's perspective and turns out to be pretty humouristic.
Overall, the portrayals seem on-point and is always good to see Deadshot having his old death wish motivation back. If I had a complaint though, it would be that the everyman portrayal that Captain Boomerang received was one of the few things that I liked from Sean Ryan's run and I wish Seeley would have kept it instead of going for the full despicable characterization he gets here.
And that twist at the end, things are going to become interesting.
Juan Ferreyra handles the artwork and is really good looking in its own unique style. He's also able to create a lot of content in every panel to depict the story.
Satisfying read, hope that Seeley continues in this series after Rebirth.
