Ms. Marvel has just created a bunch of clones of herself, what could possibly go wrong?
Many things have been happening in Kamala's life and she can't handle all of them but her solution might cause more problems than she expected.
Yeah, this totally backfired just as predicted.
G. Willow Wilson continues her ongoing plot about how Kamala's life gets more and more complicated and for that reason she asked Victor to create a bunch of clones of herself to help her. This is a pretty cliche direction to be honest and it was obvious since the beginning that it wasn't going to work the way she wanted, especially considering how limited those clones were. In terms of story there are not many surprises here.
That being said, the character development is pretty good. It was clear that this was made purposely for Kamala to start taking more responsibility for her actions (despite that she commited a transparently stupid one)and to see how those affect people around her so in that sense is successful.
Plus, I really enjoy the dynamic between her and the rest of the cast, or simply the interaction between the rest of the cast. The way how Amir's engagement is being handled is pretty enjoyable and also shows how interesting his girlfriend's family is. The way how the wedding is being prepared is also quite compelling.
Nico Leon is in charge of the art and is really good and on-point with the style of the series thanks to the expressive characters and distinctive look.
So, a bit cliche but with entertaining moments. Not bad.
