Midnighter will have to fight people as ruthless as him.
Amanda Waller has plans for both Midnighter and Henry Bendix and she believes her Suicide Squad are the right people to deal with both but this could be harder than she thought.
Well, I think some things worked but others were a bit awkward.
Steve Orlando continues his story by focusing on how Midnighter deals with Waller and her team and the way how the character interacts with the rest of the cast is pretty entertaining for the most part, especially the conversation with Waller. The way how he handles the fights is still really engaging.
On the other hand, I wasn't a fan of the portrayal of Deadshot here. He was way too prompt to look for a fight with Midnighter and acted quite frankly like a douche instead of the cold psychopath he's supposed to be and this was mostly done to make Midnighter look better in comparison which is one of the worst things that you can do in a story.
I didn't like how much the character repeats "I've fought this battle a million times". Yes, I get it, you don't need to repeat a million times either.
Hugo Petrus and ACO share the pencils and their work is really consistent over the course of the issue and it has pretty distinctive look with creative storytelling.
A bit on the fence about this one, not so bad but not so great.
