Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #40

Wonder Woman is about to meet the ramifications of her actions.

Donna Troy has been created to replace Diana as the Queen of the Amazons and is decided to do whatever is needed to defeat her. Meanwhile, Diana is going to realize how one of her old battles has caused the problems she's currently facing.

Some things worked, some things didn't.

The story itself is not that bad since Meredith Finch focus on some interesting moments of characterization that rely on how Diana is feeling about the current events. It's solidly done overall and there's nothing particularly off about the portrayal.

It was also nice to see some of Brian Azzarello's plot-points being used here.

Then again, I suppose that many people will have problems with Donna Troy's portrayal and I personally don't think it's the ideal.

David Finch's artwork looks really inconsistent and ugly at times. It feels like a quite rushed job overall.

Kinda okay issue I suppose, still not feeling great about this run.
