The Justice Society of America will be forced to get out of retirement.
The members from the original superhero team are finally feeling their age after being trapped inside of the dome but once that their powers return they will have to fight for a last time.
Once again, I feel this is solid but doesn't offer anything new.
Dan Abnett concentrates on the classic members from the group like Jay Garrick, Carter Hall and Alan Scott and does a satisfying job at portraying how they feel about getting old and mortal once again. The relationships between them is well-depicted and definitely the best part of the issue.
Then again, the plot itself is the same derivative Convergence stuff, well-executed but still pretty predictable.
Tom Derenick handles the pencils and his work is pretty good, he manages to get the expressions of the cast perfectly and the storytelling is clear.
Readable as I said but don't expect something groundbreaking.
