The crew is about to lose yet another member.
Brainstorm is currently being judged due to his actions and the members from the Lost Light will have to make the choice they feel is right. Meanwhile, Ratchet is finally demonstrating how much he cares for the rest although it might be a little too late.
Once again, this series delivers the kind of progress I'm expecting.
James Roberts offers a chapter that serves both as an epilogue of the previous storyline and a set-up for the next one. The decision about Brainstorm's fate is something that makes a lot of sense all things considered and I'm glad about the resolution.
The characterization continues to be pretty good, especially for Ratchet who receives most of the spotlight and the writer focuses on what makes him different but at the same time similar to the rest of his friends. Speaking of portrayals, all the members from the cast receive really good moments and Roberts is clearly setting plots up for the future.
Brendan Cahill is in charge of pencils and his work is quite beautiful with great-looking characters, detailed scenarios and perfect storytelling. He even experiments with his style in some sections.
Excellent issue. This series can't do wrong.
