This has been your life Black Canary.
Dinah has spent her whole life along with her band, so long that she has forgotten some of her other duties. However, there's something wrong about this life and she will need to realize what is it before is too late.
This was certainly a good journey.
Brenden Fletcher arrives with the final chapter of his story by delivering a quite interesting and creative story focusing on Dinah's path and how that will influence the rest of her life. From the metacommentary about how Black Canary "was a critical darling but failed to attract mainstream audience" to the perfect depiction of different moments from Dinah's life, this becomes a pretty compelling way to explore more about her personality and vision of the future.
It becomes pretty clear though, that there's something strange about this which ultimately brings a satisfying conclusion to this particular story while also demonstrating how strong as a character Dinah is.
Annie Wu and Sandy Jarrell share art duties and their work is quite consistent during the course of the issue with a pretty unique style that manages to depict each segment in an inventive way. The characters look especially detailed and it was nice to see how they age with each different section.
Quite good finale, one of my favorites this week.
