Loki has just died once again but is that true?
The God of Lies is about to meet other beings who also hold that mantle before and are trying to convince him to follow their path. However, he will realize that nobody has the right to tell him what he has to be.
I'm truly loving where this is going.
Al Ewing delivers a new chapter where he continues to play with readers' expectations and completely twist them. There are even mentions of how people would prefer the old, villanous Loki for nostalgia sake which is pretty realistic considering some parts of the fanbase.
It was also pretty good to see the previous incarnations of Loki being explored. Plus, despite that there are serious moments in this chapter, the story still doesn't takes itself that seriously due that it also contains fun moments in it.
Plus, that last page seems promising and intriguing.
Lee Garbett continues on art duties and he still delivers a quite good job thanks to his beautiful characters and excellent storytelling with really detailed and creative layouts.
Great issue, hope the new direction is as interesting as the previous one.
