The metahumans from an universe known as Kingdom Come are about to fight their world and Amanda Waller will have no other choice but recruit people as powerful and dangerous if they want to have a chance. However, there's more in this conflict than just battles.
The classic Suicide Squad returns and thankfully this chapter does the team justice.
Frank Tieri delivers an interesting story where he portrays every single character from the history of this group perfectly. Deadshot, Amanda Waller, Oracle, all of them receive good scenes and also bring back some nice memories too.
Speaking about the story, the author manages to reference several parts from the previous continuity up to this point and also successfuly incorporates them into the plot. Plus, there's more than just fights in this issue due that there are manipulation from both sides of the conflict.
Tom Mandrake offers a quite good and fitting artstyle for this installment thanks to the dark atmosphere he provides and also the expressive characters he creates.
Excellent issue, really liking where this is going.
