Kyle Rayner is decided to make Hal Jordan come to his senses no matter what.
Trapped under a dome just like the rest of their city, Kyle is feeling terrible for the loss of his powers but not as much as Hal who feels guilty for his actions as Parallax. However, with the return of their powers, both Lanterns will also return to their old ways.
Goddammit, this is probably one of the most predictable tie-ins ever.
Tony Bedard comes up with a pretty by the numbers story that doesn't reflect anything new about the characters that it focus on. While the characterization for Kyle might be decent, the one for Hal is all over the place and presents him as a pretty weak-willed person.
The dialogue is also pretty blunt at times with Bedard overstating the obvious several times over the course of the issue. Speaking of things that are obvious, the plot doesn't offer any surprise whatsoever and feels like a hack job more than anything else.
Ron Wagner is in charge of the art and his work is decent, the style is okay but not particularly impressive nor beautiful.
This is borderline offensive, I feel sorry for people who paid for such mediocrity.
