The team is still dealing with being trapped inside of the dome without powers but now they're forced to face Emperor Aquaman from the Flashpoint universe. Can Mera fight against someone who looks like her husband?
Yet another tie-in that I find enjoyable.
It's necessary to mention that this story takes place immediately after the events of Brightest Day with the Justice League of America consisting of characters like Supergirl, Jesse Quick, Jade and Congorilla, plus there are mentions of Arthur just being revived which of course is connected to what happened during these days.
The characterization for the cast is pretty solid and really entertaining, the team dynamic is well depicted with a lot of jokes in between and dialogue that feels natural. Frank Tieri has done a good effort at depicting the group.
The art is provided by Vicente Cifuentes and his work is really good looking, full of attractive characters and nice action scenes with a really clean style.
Nice chapter, better than I expected.
