Some thoughts about Convergence: Supergirl Matrix #1

The Supergirl who you were expecting the least is back.

The being known as Supergirl Matrix is decided to save people no matter what her boss, Lex Luthor wants. Now forced to fight both Lady Quark and Lord Volt, she will have to try to defeat them before they kill themselves.

Most entertaining Convergence tie-in? Most entertaining Convergence tie-in.

Keith Giffen arrives with a hilarious take on one of the most convoluted characters who ever took over the mantle of Supergirl and he's ready to make fun of the fact the most he can. The interactions between this version of Luthor and her are really funny and definitely show that the writer doesn't take the whole premise seriously.

Other great aspect is the relationship between Lady Quark and Lord Volt due that they fight like an old-married couple but they were actually forced to get married. Plus, I think the writer was hinting that both of them are actually Gay which makes things even more hysterical.

Timothy Green II handles the pencils and his work has a pretty unique style and manages to capture both the funny and vibrant sections of the story.

Great issue, one of my favorite things from this event.
