The lives of the Hawkeyes continues to be in danger.
After discovering that Hydra has been experimenting on children, both Clint and Kate know that they need to save them no matter what. However, this could turn-out to be something even more problematic.
The new volume of Hawkeye continues with another successful chapter.
Jeff Lemire keeps exploring the past of Clint Barton while at the same time telling an interesting story in present time. The flashback sections are really well-crafted with compelling moments of characterization and reinvention of key points for the character including his old relationship with his mentor, the Swordsman.
The present time events contain Lemire's trademarked horror moments and they're also well-executed, not only that but they share a similar theme with Clint's past.
Ramon Perez remains in art duties and his work is still pretty unique due that he uses a different style for each sections with the flashbacks having a watercolor tone and the present time sections having a similar style from the last Hawkeye series.
Excellent issue, the best Marvel title I've read this week.
