The Flash has lost his powers for a year and that doesn't suit him well.
Barry Allen has been forced to act like a normal man after being trapped inside of the dome and worse of all, he doesn't have any contact with his wife, Iris. However, once that his powers return, he will be able to fight once again and he will need to.
This was... okay I would say.
Dan Abnett arrives with story focusing on the sense of loss that Barry is currently feeling due to the lack of connection with the Speed Force and not knowing what happened to Iris. Is overall, a logical portrayal and is well-executed for the most part.
The problem is that I think this premise has been explored several times in the past and it doesn't really offer anything new aside from that. In fact, it doesn't offer anything aside from that since it's pretty light in content.
The art however, is wonderful. Federico Dallocchio delivers one of his best works ever with beautiful characters, gorgeous scenes and detailed storytelling.
As I say, this is okay but I feel like it should have delivered more.
