Simon Oliver delivers an interesting story focusing on the classic Earth X where the Freedom Fighters and Plastic Man reside and actually takes some interesting directions with the characters, especially Eel who receives some good moments of characterization.
There are also some surprising scenes that are focused on classic members from this universe and they're executed correctly aside from a final page that feels more like an afterthought than anything else.
John McCrea delivers a pretty appropriate work on art duties with expressive characters and storytelling and while his work might look a but unpolished at times, it still has a nice style.
Yeah, solid I would say. Worth checking out overall.
