Some thoughts about Convergence: Superman #1

Superman has spent a year without his powers but it wouldn't be the first time.

Clark is decided to keep fighting against crime despite of his lack of invulnerability but that is the least of his concerns due that metahumans from the Flashpoint universe are coming for him and Lois.

Just as predicted, this was pretty solid.

Dan Jurgens returns to write the version of Superman he's most familiar with, the one from post-COIE. The characterization is really good with perfect portrayal of Clark which is demonstrated during the whole issue from how he would handle criminals without superpowers to his relationship with Lois, it's a pretty nice job.

Not only that but the author also plays with some interesting choices like Lois being pregnant and the Superman from the Flashpoint universe wanting to meet her. It presents really compelling moments.

Lee Weeks is in charge of the art and his work is wonderful with fantastic storytelling techniques that make the story even better and an overall beautiful style.

Quite enjoyable chapter, hope that the next one provides a good conclusion.
