Michael has been trapped and tortured for a while and he's about to learn that one of his alternate versions has been suffering the same fate. However, thanks to the help of Rip Hunter he will soon realize the existence of other realities and timelines.
Well, this is a pretty good way to make a connection.
Dan Jurgens arrives with a pretty logical explanation for what has been happening to Booster all this time and it certainly has a lot to do with Convergence. No spoilers here, but this includes what happened in the Futures End: Booster Gold story and it all makes much more sense now.
The characterization is pretty solid with the writer demonstrating what makes Michael the person he is perfectly and also we see different glances of other characters connected to time travel. Pretty satisfying.
Alvaro Martinez is on art duties and his work is beautiful with expressive and gorgeous characters and quite detailed environments.
Really solid issue and I hope the next one is as good if not better.
