Meet She-Hulk, she works closely with the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. This is what she does when she's not working with them.
Jennifer Walters is one of the best attorneys in New York, unfortunately for some that's not enough and her firm is not satisfied with her work despite of being impeccable. Disappointed with her old job she will find hope in another kind of bar where she will receive a new job that may help her set a new direction.
The first issue of this new title starring one of the most prominent female characters in the Marvel universe. I have to say that I have been a fan of She-Hulk since her second series written by John Byrne and now she has Charles Soule, one of the best current writers in charge of her.
Before starting, you must know that Soule's main occupation is being a lawyer so he knows a lot about the topic and how to present it in a believable way (you know, besides the green main character) and he certainly delivers interesting concepts about such profession and creates an interesting new development for Jen.
The character work is pretty good too, Jennifer's portrayal is spot-on and her different reactions are quite accurate based on her history, even Tony Stark receives a nice depiction despite of being in just a few pages.
However, I must say that I feel this issue was a bit overwritten, I understand that Soule tried to create an atmosphere similar to what happens in this carreer but it seemed a bit clunky, not enough to ruin the issue but it was still noticeable.
Javier Pulido is a master storyteller, the way he draws expressions, movements and action is fantastic, he definitely contributes to bringing the best of this story.
Anyway, good issue. I'm not quite impressed yet but it's a nice set-up.
