- The Brave and the Bold: The first appearances of the JLA in the Silver Age, it probably won't hold-up to today standards but is still good if you want to see their early adventures.
- Justice League of America (Silver Age): Ditto as the last one.
- Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis Justice League: Contains the now classic cast better known as the Justice League International as well as some of the most hilarious adventures of this team.
- Grant Morrison's JLA and JLA: Classified: What more can I say? At this point you all must know about this legendary run so I will just mention that it contains some of the most epic stories featuring these characters.
- Brad Meltzer's Justice League of America: Not completely necessary but it still contains some nostalgic moments about the history of the team.
- Alex Ross' Justice: Not a really groundbreaking story like his work on Kingdom Come but still has some interesting interpretations of the heroes, especially Hal Jordan.
