Some thoughts about Red Hood and the Outlaws #28

Can Jason Todd be able to reconcile his relationship with Isabel before a bunch of people try to kill them?

After recovering his memories and dealing with his own destiny, Jason along with Roy and Kory are finally able to relax or at least that's what they think since another enemy apparently wants to murder them. Things may never change for this team.

The last issue from James Tynion IV's run on this title, it had its ups and downs but overall I thought it was a decent work, this issue however, was one of his better ones. This time the writer focuses on trying to get everything back to normal for the Outlaws which means going back to their crazy adventures against even crazier opponents while concentrating in the relationship between all of them.

How does this end for Jason and Isabel? Well, I think it was the most logical conclusion in my opinion.

Stephen Segovia handles the art and while it's serviceable I didn't find it really impressive. At some parts it looked good and others not so much which is something I have been thinking about all the pencillers working with Tynion on this book, the weakest part has always been the art.

It's a satisfying conclusion actually and one that creates a blank slate for the arrival Will Pfeiffer, the upcoming writer.

  1. isabel was in love with jason after a crazy and deadly adventure in the space in a alien war! she was still in love with jason after the joker almost killed! You'd think after all she would follow with jason

the only thing good is the art

    1. I dunno, I don't remember seeing a confirmation about her being interested after the Joker almost killed her and why would she be? That was a pretty traumatic experience.

I believe it was the natural response from a normal person.
