Some thoughts about Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion #5

The Rogues can't catch a break can they?

After being captured by the Royal Flush Gang to try to save Lisa from the destruction but there is someone wose coming for them, Johnny Quick, The Fastest Psychopath Alive is coming for them.

This miniseries is almost coming to the end and I must say that is still pretty enjoyable despite of not being particularly impressive. Brian Buccellato's portrayal of The Rogues is quite on-point with how he was depicting them on The Flash, I especially like how Mirror Master ended up being the everyman of the group, he's probably the most normal of them all.

The battle between them and Johnny Quick was entertaining too, I'm glad that Buccellato is exploiting the existence of an evil Flash here.

Scott Hepburn's pencils are still not a favorite of mine, his style is way too cartoony for a series like this. Still, there are scenes, particularly action segments that look good.

Enjoyable issue as usual. This series might not be pushing boundaries but is fun at least.
