Some thoughts about Green Lantern Corps #28

The Green Lantern Corps are looking for the only being who can help them in the war against the Durlans, one of their own.

Von Daggle, a Durlan member of the Corps who has been missing for while, is needed to investigate more about his race and their weaknesses, it won't be an easy job to convince him though. The current war is not the only menace that they must face though since the threat of the Sinestro Corps is rising once again.

This is the first issue of Van Jensen as solo writer of this book and so far he seems to be apt for the job. He definitely knows how to develope characters in each scene they had despite of their short appearances and the portrayals of each of the classic members of the cast is pretty on-point.

I especially enjoy how the current direction of the line is reminding us the Kilowog is actually a scientist, I hope that this is something it will be explored further. Plus, it's always good to see more of Soranik Natu and her role in the GLC.

I have been missing Bernard Chang's art on this series, the title is simply not the same without him. His style continues to be vibrant and powerful and the colors brought by Marcelo Maiolo certainly increases its quality.

Good issue, I have no complaints whatsoever, it had a good balance between character work and content.
