Some thoughts about Green Lantern: New Guardians #28

What happens when Gods start abusing their powers?

Kyle's mission to explore the universe makes him arrive to a new planet on the edge of war and to help their people Kyle will have to share the emotions that exist in him. However, that's not the only concern since a new group called the Godkillers are starting to destroy deities around the universe and their next destination might put them in conflict with the White Lantern.

Justin Jordan has been exploring quite interesting themes on this series since the beginning of his run and this issue is no different. This time Kyle has to deal with a world at war but in a way that it doesn't make him interfere with their decisions, it's a pretty nice idea for a story and one that has a satisfactory result. Plus, it was good to see a classic DCU deity being reimagined here.

The best aspect of this story though was the segments where the Godkillers appeared, they have a pretty understandable objective based on how some Gods act and it makes me excited about the potential of their next battle.

Brad Walker is an outstanding artist who contibutes immensily to the quality of this series. His style is quite creative and dynamic which makes the action and character scenes much more wonderful.

Another great issue. This is seriously one of the best titles from the Green Lantern franchise right now.
