Faora has just been brought to earth and Zod is not willing to let her go again.
Clark and Diana are having some problem with their relationship currently but they will have to put that aside if they want to stop both Zod and Faora and decide who is the most powerful couple.
Charles Soule continues the kind of work he has been constructing since issue 1. Concentrating in both developing the relationship between Clark and Diana while also presenting really engaging action scenes that also create an interesting conflict between the two.
The character work is pretty good while Zod and Faora so far are introducing as convincing threats. It's necessary to mention that it's pretty cool to see Soule adressing some points of Brian Azzarello's run in Wonder Woman like the curse of the Amazons. It makes the universe much more cohesive.
I have one complaint though, this was a bit of a fast read. The character and action scenes were quite nice but I suddenly realized that I was already at the end of the issue, it's not hugely decompressed but I still feel it could have had more content.
Tony Daniel's art is simply gorgeous, his characters look really attractive and he depicts the battle between the two couples perfectly. I just love looking at the art and at some points I think I would be buying this book just for it.
Thankfully the story still continues to deliver. This was a pretty good issue, wish it was a bit denser but it was still satisfying.
