Some thoughts about Batgirl #48

Batgirl and Black Canary will have to stop a different kind of villain.

Someone has been playing with Barbara's memories recently and all of that seems to be connected to a person but is that really the truth.

A lot of things to like from this.

Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher continue their main story about how Barbara's memories have been manipulated for someone lately and how everyone around her is trying to help who the culprit is. The dynamic between the characters is one of the best aspects of this chapter being either between Babs and Duke or Babs and Dinah, especially Babs and Dinah since they act like pretty good friends and their personalities contrast perfectly.

The plot progresses satisfactorily and we actually learn who the culprit is but this brings the question: Is that actually the case? We know this is a guy who can control other people's brains so there could be something bigger behind this.

Babs Tarr handles the artwork for the issue while Rob Haynes is in charge of the breakdown in the last pages and it looks pretty good for the most part but Tarr's solo work seems to be the most consistently beautiful and polished. The different inkers make the overall look a bit erratic too.

Pretty solid, hope to see where this goes.
