Some thoughts about All-New X-Men #4

Is Wolverine truly indestructible?

The X-Men are becoming more popular lately thanks to Cyclops but Laura's behavior is getting more and more erratic and Warren can't help but think this could mean her end.

Well, this issue certainly delivered what I expect.

Dennis Hopeless brings a new chapter where he focuses on one of his specialties: Character work. There's a bit of plot progression concerning how the team is apparently getting accepted by others and how they continue to handle threats around the world.

However, the installment is mostly dedicated to characterization. Especifically the relationship between Laura and Warren which is nicely depicted for the most part and quite understandable based on their own natures. Mind you, I don't think that Laura should be portrayed this reckeless based on her depiction in her own title, it doesn't seem accurate.

Mark Bagley remains in art duties and his work is still quite good with expressive and good looking characters while action scenes are depicted strongly.

Solid read overall, I hope we get some development from here though.
