Poison Ivy will have to find who murdered her mentor.
Pamela is currently investigating the recent crime while at the same time dealing with how her own creations start to evolve and that could be pretty dangerous for everyone around.
Okay, some things to like, others not so much.
For one, I like that Amy Chu is investigating Pamela's own profession and does it in a way that sounds compelling. From the different examples where her abilities are being explained to the multiple segments where her investigation takes place, all of it seems interesting at the very least. The whole mystery is serviceable and the characterization for Ivy continues to be on-point.
On the other hand, I'm getting a bit tired about how Pamela refers to herself in third person by saying "Poison Ivy" which is kinda goofy. It doesn't really ruin the read but is still noticeable.
Clay Mann remains in art duties and his work is still solid with nice character models and storytelling.
Not many complaints to hate this issue but I'm not exactly loving it. It works fine enough I guess.
