Some thoughts about Black Canary #8

Black Canary has been captured and it could mean her end.

Dinah has just found herself fighting for her life along with an old friend and she will have to decide if she can trust the person who has been following her all this time.

Pretty good stuff here.

Brenden Fletcher delivers a new storyarc here where he focuses on the ramifications of the last one with Dinah being caught. There's a lot of character development in this chapter due that we start seeing some exploration about Dinah's past and how everything is connected to the mysterious woman who has been following her all this time.

There's also some decent amount of worldbuilding which includes the appearance of a classic DC character who also has a past with Dinah and let me tell you, she's perfectly portrayed here, they even managed to keep her usual career.

Sandy Jarrell is in charge of the art and she does a pretty solid job at emulating the style that Annie Wu created for this title with distinctive character models and strong action scenes.

One of the best issues yet and that's saying a lot.
