The Teen Titans will be forced to fight for one of their own once again.
The team is currently trying to act normal after all the crazy events they had to endure but that won't last for long once that Cassie starts investigating about her origins.
Let's be honest here, the Teen Titans really didn't have the best of lucks after Flashpoint.
Scott Lobdell started the New 52 series and that eventually failed in terms of execution. Then Will Pfeifer relaunched the series only to suffer the same fate. Finally, we have Greg Pak to handle the final few issues, what's the verdict?
Well, is a solid start but I wouldn't be excited yet.
For one, Pak finally handles a plot-point that has been ignored for a while: Cassie's origins. Is good to know that this hasn't been forgotten and is actually being explored in a logical way based on what happened in this series and Wonder Woman's title.
The characterization is pretty on-point with a lot of the characters' past being referenced including Cassie's own history as a thief. Tim is still pretty smart thankfully while other members from the cast like Bunker and Beast Boy remain likable without being obnoxious. Nothing to complaint here.
Ian Churchill is in charge of the pencils and his work is pretty on-point with good character models and strong action scenes.
Execution-wise, this is promising so far but considering that the book is already ending is too little too late.
