Some thoughts about Silver Surfer #2

Silver Surfer will need to learn what is so different about this new universe.

After the last event that threatened all creation, Norrin is still unsure if he still can count with his friends on Earth and he will soon realize that things have changed much more than he expected.

I'm impressed about how enjoyable this title still is.

Dan Slott brings a new chapter where he continues to develope the relationship between the protagonists Norrin and Dawn which becomes especially engaging once that they meet Alicia Masters, one of Norrin's old friends who makes the dynamic much more entertaining based on the history they share.

Plus, the writer explores the reasons behind the Fantastic Four's disappearance and how is connected to the last Marvel event, Secret Wars while at the same time revealing more of the ongoing story. The plot progresses satisfactorily.

Mike Allred continues in art duties and his work continues to impress with every page and layout that manages to deliver a creative moment of storytelling as well as offering a lot of content.

This was quite the packed issue. Highly recommended.
