Some thoughts about Superman: Lois and Clark #5

Superman will have to deal with a new kind of villain.

Clark has been fighting against a man so twisted that wants to kill people in different ways and to defeat him he will need the help of one of his old enemies.

First of all, that cover is a bit misleading. Batman barely appears here.

Second, this is still a pretty solid read.

Dan Jurgens brings a new chapter where he continues the plot-point of the villain who was introduced in the last issue while still drawing some parallels between this universe and the one pre-Flashpoint. This kind of contrast is still pretty interesting and makes me want to see what is different between them.

The character work still shines by making some strong moments where Clark talks about Batman and his relationship with Lois and their son. The scenes where they interact are pretty well-done and logical based on their story.

Neil Edwards handles the artwork here and is pretty good with good looking characters and precise storytelling.

Enjoyable issue. Hope that the last ones of the title are as good.
