Some thoughts about Harley's Little Black Book #2

Harley is about to get a power ring, the world is doomed.

After losing an auction for a green lantern ring against Geoff Johns, Harley has decided to get a new one that fits better with her personality. However, things will automatically get problematic.

Yes, Harley lost an auction against Geoff Johns, that should immediately make you love this issue.

Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring a new chapter of this bimonthly team-up series this time focusing on the dynamic between Harley and Hal Jordan. The characterization is pretty accurate with Hal still acting as the reckless pilot and ladies' man we all know while Harley contrasts nicely with such personality.

The comedic moments work solidly with each scene focusing on how the power ring affects Harley and how Hal suffers to try to stop her. There also seems to be an ongoing plot with some of the same characters that appeared in the previous issue.

John Timms handles the artwork is really good. He's able to depict beautiful characters while also making them quite expressive and detailed. The action scenes are really well done too.

Fun issue overall, hope the next one offers more of this.
