Some thoughts about Superman/Wonder Woman #26

Superman and Wonder Woman will need to face the wrath of Vandal Savage.

Clark and Diana are currently facing problems due that Clark has been infected by Kryptonite that is making him regain his powers but is also slowly killing him and things are about to get worse once that they have to fight Savage's children.

*sigh* So tired of this crossover.

Peter Tomasi delivers a new chapter of the storyarc Savage Dawn which is simply a big fight between Superman and Wonder Woman against the forces of Savage but there's nothing particularly interesting about it. Sure, there are some decent character moments here and there and the relationship seems fine at least but other than that all of it is pretty by the numbers.

It almost feels like just a transition chapter where very little happens and the most interesting thing about this is that they have to fight a couple that looks suspiciously like the Wonder Twins.

Doug Mahnke is the best aspect of the issue due to his beautiful artstyle that makes the story much bigger in scale but is not enough to save the little content.

Waste of time quite honestly. Is a shame this title is going to end this way.
