Some thoughts about The Flash #49

Central City has hired The Flash's most dangerous enemies to defeat him.

The Rogues are ready to take down Barry and he doesn't know how to handle this situation. Even trying to help others could result for the worse.

You know, this once again was solid.

Robert Venditti and Van Jensen continue their storyarc about the return of The Rogues and fortunately all of them seem in character. Their dynamic remains intact by prefering to act as a team and using their abilities in the best way possible to defeat The Flash. It was a nice showcase of their skills.

Plus, there's also an ongoing mystery around it about who is manipulating them during their battle. The plot-point about Wally gaining superspeed is also progressing nicely.

Philippe Briones is in charge of the art here and his style is pretty good with expressive characters and a decent storytelling skill.

It might be too late to save this run but is good to know that is not as bad as before.
