Superman might have recovered his powers but the dangers are not over.
After Clark made a desperate decision to get back his abilities, he's ready to defeat Vandal Savage once for all not knowing that the immortal has bigger plans in mind.
Well, this story is wrapping up but I wish it was over already.
Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder provide a new chapter where they continue exactly where the last issue of Superman ended, with Clark throwing himself to a bed of Kryptonite hoping that would help him regain his powers and it actually worked. Putting aside the fact that all of this seems pretty irrational even for this character, is still a kinda rushed development for the story. I wanted Clark to recover his powers but not in such a quick and easy manner.
The threats that the writers present are okay and the characterization for Clark is solid but is just a pretty by the numbers story of a supervillain trying to control everything. Nothing special.
Kuder himself handles the layouts while Ardian Syaf finishes the job and the result is a pretty good looking artwork with solid storytelling.
However, you can still skip this issue and hope that it at least will have a decent conclusion.
